The Eastern New York Lumber Dealers Association (ENYLDA) celebrated two outstanding members of the lumber and building materials industry at its 2026 Annual Meeting on Friday, September 18, honoring David Moore and Tim Wiley, retired from Wiley Brothers, with Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Held aboard the Lac du Saint Sacrement steamboat in beautiful Lake George, N.Y., the evening provided a memorable setting for an evening of celebration, recognition, and camaraderie. With breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding Adirondack landscape, attendees enjoyed a dinner cruise followed by entertainment.

Moore and Wiley were joined by family, friends, colleagues, and industry members who came together to celebrate their many years of dedication and contributions to the industry and their communities.

NRLA Chair Genn Howley of GNH Lumber provided a heartfelt introduction of the two honorees. Her touching remarks recognized the accomplishments and lasting impact of both Moore and Wiley, making the presentation a particularly meaningful part of the evening.

In addition to honoring the Lifetime Achievement recipients, ENYLDA conducted its annual election of officers. The 2026–2027 officers are:

  • President: Mike Catalina, Preferred Marketing Associates
  • 1st Vice President: Kylie Holland, Curtis Lumber Co.
  • Secretary: Jeanne Xanthos, Herrington’s
  • Treasurer: Riza Touba, Griffin Engineering & Supply
  • Ex-Officio: Louise Eddy, Saratoga Quality Hardware and Lumber

ENYLDA extends its sincere appreciation to its 2026 sponsors for their continued support and contributions to the association. Their involvement helps ENYLDA continue to provide valuable programs, events, and opportunities for members throughout the year.

The association looks forward to continuing the celebration of the industry at the Joint Tradeshow on November 17 at The Venue in Kingston. ENYLDA invites members and industry partners to join for another opportunity to connect, learn, network, and support the lumber and building materials industry. It was a special evening in Lake George—one that recognized two deserving industry leaders while bringing together the ENYLDA community to celebrate its past, present, and future.
