To strengthen access to specialty building products for LBM dealer customers in the Southeast, Weyerhaeuser Company has selected Gallatin, Tennessee, for its 22nd distribution center. This greenfield project will be the company’s first distribution facility in Tennessee.
“This expansion helps us support more dealers throughout the Southeast by delivering products and solutions with improved efficiency and responsiveness,” said Leigh Hudspeth, Weyerhaeuser east division general manager. “Weyerhaeuser has a long history of connection in the places where we operate, and we’re excited to be part of Gallatin’s thriving community.”

Location highlights include: 96,250 square feet of covered warehouse storage, 13.83 total acres, including 6 acres of yard space to support inbound and outbound shipments. Located within 15-miles of major transportation corridors (I‑40 and I‑65), enabling efficient service to the growing markets of Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee, as well as Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
This new distribution center will support the continued growth of Weyerhaeuser proprietary products, including Trus Joist Engineered Lumber Products, Weyerhaeuser Enhanced OSB Flooring Panels, and Weyerhaeuser Framer Series™ Lumber, while also allowing us to introduce top‑tier specialty brands to serve residential, multifamily, and light commercial construction in this expanding market.
With full operational capabilities in place by late 2026, the Gallatin distribution center will complement service capabilities currently offered through the Richmond, Charlotte and Atlanta centers, helping dealers across the Southeast get the products and solutions they need—more efficiently and with greater responsiveness.
