LMC, the leading cooperative in the lumber and building materials industry, today announced that John Keeley, Vice President of the Building Materials Division, will retire from the company effective September 4, 2026.
Keeley joined LMC in 1988 as a Purchasing Manager in the Hardware Department. Over the course of nearly four decades, he played an instrumental role in the growth and evolution of the organization. In 1997, he was named Vice President of Building Materials, a position he has held ever since, guiding the division through significant industry change while strengthening LMC’s relationships with both dealers and supplier partners.
Throughout his tenure, Keeley has been widely recognized for his deep industry knowledge, steady leadership, and commitment to the cooperative model. He has contributed meaningfully to the development of strategic supplier partnerships and has supported the continued success and competitiveness of LMC’s dealer network.
“John has been a trusted leader and a consistent presence within LMC for many years,” said Sean Tighe, Senior Vice President of Purchasing. “His contributions to the Building Materials Division and to the broader organization have been significant, and his impact will be felt well beyond his retirement.”
LMC will announce succession plans for the Building Materials Division at a later date.
