LBM Advantage announced that Alex Ray has joined the organization as of June 1, 2026, in the newly created role of Associate Director, Building Products.

The addition of this position reflects LBM Advantage’s continued commitment to strategic succession planning and the long-term growth of its Building Products division. Alex will report directly to Glenn Canino, Director of Building Products, and will be based full-time in the company’s New York office, with significant travel to support members and vendor partners nationwide.
Alex brings more than 18 years of experience in the building materials industry, with an extensive background in sales leadership, operations, and national account management. Most recently, he served with CertainTeed Gypsum, where he managed key national accounts, including the LBM Advantage co-op relationship. Throughout his career, Alex has earned a strong reputation for strengthening partnerships, driving market share growth, and delivering measurable results.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Alex has completed Executive Education studies at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds an Associate of Applied Business in Management Technology from Ohio University.
Known for his collaborative leadership style and ability to navigate change, Alex will play an important role in supporting the continued evolution and success of LBM Advantage’s Building Products strategy.
