LBM Advantage hosted its 2026 Annual Buying Show March 2–4 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, drawing unprecedented attendance from independent lumber and building material dealers and vendor partners across the country.
A strong lineup of educational programming and social events, combined with the popular destination of Nashville, contributed to the large turnout, with eager attendees even forming lines at registration as the event kicked off.
Educational programming included panel discussions on yard operations and technology, giving members the opportunity to hear directly from their peers about best practices, operational challenges, and real-world solutions. The event also featured a session on artificial intelligence and its practical applications for LBM dealers, presented by Toolbx.
Several well-attended breakfast meetings provided additional opportunities for collaboration and connection, including the ECI Spruce User Group Meeting, the BlueLinx-sponsored Multifamily Meeting, and a Conroe, Texas Meet & Greet where members were introduced to Advantage’s Southwest team and discussed the co-op’s services and expansion efforts in the region.
One of the event’s highlights was an industry celebration in downtown Nashville at Category 10, the entertainment venue founded by country music star Luke Combs. Members and vendors enjoyed four hours of live music, dancing, and networking, creating a memorable evening for attendees.
The event concluded with an inspiring keynote presentation from actor, humanitarian, and veteran advocate Gary Sinise. Sinise shared stories from his work with the Gary Sinise Foundation, highlighting the organization’s mission to serve and honor veterans, first responders, and their families. His message about leadership, service, and giving back resonated deeply with attendees.
The next LBM Advantage Annual Buying Show will take place March 8–10, 2027, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine.
