Jackson Lumber & Millwork is proud to announce that longtime team member Michael Curran has been named a Legend of the Industry by the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Massachusetts (HBRAMA). This prestigious honor recognizes Michael’s more than 44 years of leadership, dedication, and exceptional service to the building materials and remodeling industry.
Michael began his career with Merrimack Valley Wood Products before joining Jackson Lumber & Millwork in 2010 when the company acquired the business. Mike is a trusted and respected resource for contractors, remodelers, and homeowners throughout Eastern Massachusetts, Greater Boston, and Southern New Hampshire. Known for his deep product knowledge, professionalism, and unwavering integrity, he has also played a vital role in training new sales staff and mentoring emerging talent within the company.
Michael’s impact extends far beyond his work at Jackson Lumber. For many years, he has been an active and dedicated leader within HBRAMA and Northeast Builders Association (NEBA), serving in numerous volunteer roles and contributing to the organization’s growth and long-term stability. He served as NEBA President in 2019 and 2020, guiding the association through the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 lockdown. In addition, he spent more than eight years representing HBRAMA on the state association’s Board of Directors and was instrumental in recruiting nearly 50 new members—strengthening the organization’s reach, engagement, and future.

Throughout his distinguished career, Michael has received multiple Spruce Awards from Jackson Lumber & Millwork management, recognizing his outstanding sales performance and exceptional teamwork. Beyond the building industry, he has also given back to his community, spending many years coaching youth baseball and hockey in Dracut, helping young athletes develop skills, confidence, and sportsmanship.
Michael credits his father-in-law, Mike Limperis, a 2016 Legend of the Industry recipient, as a guiding influence early in his career. Today, Michael and his wife of 43 years, Linda, enjoy time with their two children and three grandchildren.
