The VRLDA held its Annual Meeting and Golf Tournament at Ralph Myhre Golf Course in Middlebury, Vt., on September 26. While the golf portion was cancelled due to rain, a remarkable 115 attendees gathered for the annual meeting, making it the best-attended in more than a decade. The event celebrated the outstanding individuals who serve the VRLDA.

Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient, John Brigham and wife, Deanna, enjoy the event with children and brother. 3. Vendor of the Year Recipient, Robert Moses and son, John, accept the award on behalf of Britton Lumber. 4. Jeremy Baker (rk MILES) proudly passes the gavel to incoming President Claudia Homan (Bethel Mills). 6. NRLA President Rita Ferris with Lang Durfee (Bethel Mills) and Joe Miles (rk MILES) who presented awards and addressed the crowd.
Honorees included Tim Comes, awarded Lumber Person of the Year; John Brigham, recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award; and Britton Lumber, named VRLDA Vendor of the Year. The meeting also saw the election of the 2024/2025 Board, with outgoing President Jeremy Baker, rk MILES, graciously passing the gavel to incoming President Claudia Homan of Bethel Mills Lumber. Reflecting on his term, Baker said, “The support and guidance you all gave me allowed us—not just me, but us—to be successful. We achieved so much together and will continue to do so under new leadership.” A special thank you to VRLDA Annual Event Chair Lance Allen of rk MILES for organizing another exceptional event enjoyed by all.
