NYLE Scott Robert Vasquezi Memorial Scholarship
This award was renamed in 2006 in the memory of Scott R. ‘Squeezi” Vasquezi. Scott, an Account Manager for Boston Cedar, was a natural-born leader who had a passion for people and particularly those in the retail lumber industry. He joined NYLE in 1998, and in 2004, he served as president, where his passion, energy, charisma, and business acumen made him a tremendous leader. Scott passed away in July of 2006 but is warmly remembered by all his friends in the retail lumber industry.
