NJBMDA Medical Benefits Program Gains Recognition

In a recent article published in NJBiz Magazine, Association Member Trust (AMT) was  recognized as “an example of a MEWA done right.” NJBMDA, a founding association member of AMT, helped to establish the health benefits Trust in 1978.  Today, AMT is a collection of association-established benefit trusts operating on a not for profit basis. The program is run by members for members, not insurance companies trying to make a profit.

AMT has brought more than 2200 employers together through its relationships with 17 trade associations in NJ.  AMT contracts with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey for access to its broad network of quality physicians and hospitals and for claim administration services.  You can click here to read NJBiz article.
