LDAC Scholarship

2024 LDAC Scholarship Application

PURPOSE:

To award scholarships of up to $2,000 for post-secondary education.

ELIGIBILITY:

A. Applicant must be a Connecticut resident. If not, the sponsorship retail/associate member must be headquartered in CT.
B. Applicant must be an employee or a dependent of an employee of a Connecticut location of a LDAC retail or associate member at the time scholarship is awarded.
C. LDAC is offering up to three (3) $2,000 scholarships. LDAC will consider awards in each of the following categories:

i. Graduating high school senior attending college in the fall of 2024.
ii. Matriculating college student entering sophomore, junior, or senior year in the fall of 2024, and under the age of 26.
iii. Graduating high school or currently enrolled college student pursuing curriculum/ degree in the building industry sciences in the fall of 2024 ; this would include trade‐ schools, forestry, architectural/design, engineering, construction management, etc.

D. Applicant must have overall GPA of 3.2 or higher

In the event there are no qualifying entries for a particular category, LDAC reserves the right to award multiple scholarships in one or more of the remaining categories for which there are additional qualified applicants, not to exceed a total of three scholarships; or, decline to award a scholarship in any category for which there are no qualified applicants, resulting in fewer than three scholarships being awarded in total. Application Deadline: April 30, 2024.
