Position: Sales Consultant for NH & VT • Marketing & Sales Associates
How did you begin your career in the LBM industry?
I first started working for Marketing & Sales Associates (MSA) doing videography
at trade shows and events. Shortly after, I transitioned into inside sales and support,
and then later into an outside rep.
What are some of the responsibilities of your position?
Representing the finest building materials in New England. Establishing and maintaining strong
relationships with distributors and lumberyards and providing our customers with product
knowledge and training. Creating and maintaining quality displays for our products. Working with
builders in the field and providing them with the installation instructions they need to succeed.
What are some of the biggest challenges you face in your career?
Every day there is a new challenge that presents itself in this industry, and it’s our job to figure out solutions.
What have you learned since working in the industry?
There is always something new to learn, and products will always continue to change and evolve.
What advice would you give to anyone new to the industry?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. There is so much to learn, whether it be in the field or at the dealer. Listen to the people around you.
What are your passions outside of the office?
Avid surfer and bow hunter. I’ve volunteered the last 15 years as a surf instructor at “HIT THE BEACH” with the Wounded Warriors.
