The Massachusetts Retail Lumber Dealers Association (MRLDA) celebrated its 126th annual meeting on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Waltham, Mass. At this event, Kevin Brockmyre of Hood Distribution was honored as the Lumber Person of the Year and Frank Gring, retired of BROSCO received a Lifetime Achievement Award. Both gentlemen were celebrated for their distinguished careers, tireless dedication to promoting the industry and the MRLDA, and impactful community involvement.

Jay Mahoney of Fairview Millwork was elected board president of the MRLDA, and promptly thanked T.J. McNulty of Hingham Lumber for his outstanding service as president over the last two years. Tom McManus of Cape Cod Lumber also received a service award as he is stepping down off the MRLDA board after a decade of service.
Earlier in the afternoon, the MRLDA held a board of directors meeting, followed by a cocktail reception, business meeting, dinner, and the aforementioned awards ceremony.
