MoistureShield, a signature brand of Oldcastle APG, is proud to announce the launch of its Stratos line of composite enhanced PVC decking—a breakthrough innovation in outdoor flooring.
Featuring the best of both wood composites and PVC decking, Stratos’ groundbreaking Next Core is meticulously designed to be stronger and longer-spanning than any other PVC decking on the market. Stratos features a proprietary acrylic cap that defends against damage from stains, scratches and impact while also resisting fading.
Available in three exclusive colors that are inspired by the Mediterranean landscape, Stratos features a TruTexture Surface that provides an authentic wood grain finish and enriched color variegation along with MoistureShield’s CoolDeck Technology that reduces heat up to 35%.
Engineered with a 50% greater span, Stratos provides rigidity and more solid feel underfoot compared to conventional PVC and composite decking when installed 24” on center. “Stratos enables installers to set themselves apart by offering a new level of design, installation detail and speed on their jobs,” said Matthew Bruce, Vice President of Sales, MoistureShield. “With lower expansion at higher temperatures than standard PVC decking, installers can finish with tighter details across wider spans than ever before possible.”
MoistureShield plans to offer Stratos in New England and Michigan beginning mid-March before rolling the product out to a national audience in the summer.
