In addition to their rebranding, Millwork Design by Oxford (MDO) has been an employee-owned company since 2022. Teamshares, a firm specializing in acquiring small businesses from retiring owners, bought the business. Under this unique employee ownership structure, employees initially receive shares of 10% of the company and are expected to progressively own 80% of the business in 20 years. With an even greater sense of ownership, their team is motivated to continue providing innovative architectural mouldings that set us apart from traditional “commodity” profiles in the industry.
