The Mid-Hudson Lumber Dealers Association (MHLDA) will convene on October 27 for their Annual Meeting in Peekskill, N.Y., where they are slated to honor one of their members.

The Lumber Person of the Year award is one of the highest honors given by one’s peers in the lumber and building material industry. The Lumber Person of the Year Award criteria include that the individual: 

  1. Has made, or is currently making, contributions to the industry through their state, local, or Northeastern association. 
  2. Is recognized as a reputable member of the lumber and building material industry. 
  3. Has contributed, or is contributing, to their community through one or more civic organizations. 

This year’s recipient of the Lumber Person of the Year award is Jeff Dain of N. Dain’s Sons Co.
