LMC is pleased to announce Lauren Brady has been promoted to Director of Corporate Meetings and Charles Johns to Director, Special Wood Products.

Brady joined LMC in 2024 as a senior meeting planner, bringing more than 20 years of corporate meeting planning experience. Prior to joining LMC, Brady most recently worked at Cvent on the Nestlé account. In her role as Director of Corporate Meetings, Brady will oversee the strategies and execution of LMC events, and the development of programs to increase dealer engagement. Brady noted that creating experiences for dealers and suppliers where they can form relationships and strengthen existing connections is the driving force behind LMC’s corporate meetings team. In her new role role, Brady will report directly to Paul Ryan, President & CEO of LMC.

Brady is set to lead her first event in this position at the 2025 LMC Expo in Philadelphia from November 3-5. She is also preparing for the LMC Annual in Chicago, scheduled for March 10-12, 2026.

Johns joined LMC in July 2014 as a trader in the specialties department, working specifically with decking and imported hardwoods. In February 2019, he assumed responsibility for the PVC trim program and was promoted to department manager of the specialties department in April 2021. In March 2025, Johns transitioned to department manager of the engineered wood department. In his new role role, Johns will report directly to Jim McMenamin. Johns succeeds Ron Thompson who retired after 25 years of service.

Prior to joining LMC, Johns worked for eight years as a National Account Representative for Boise Cascade. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University. His leadership experience and industry expertise will help drive growth in LMC’s Special Wood Products business and for the cooperative as a whole.
