On Friday, October 24, the Central New York Retail Lumber Dealers Association’s (CNYRLDA) Annual Meeting at The Craftsman Inn in Fayetteville, N.Y., was a night of celebration, highlighted by honoring Tom Dando as the 2025 CNYRLDA Industry Excellence Award recipient.

CNYRLDA President and emcee Jamie Evans of Cameron Ashley led the evening, which featured an open bar reception, dinner, entertainment, and awards. NRLA President Rita Ferris and NRLA Chair Doug Ford of Curtis Lumber Company addressed attendees, sharing updates on NRLA initiatives and the upcoming LBM Expo. Guests were entertained by a renowned Upstate New York magician-comedian, Sky Sands, during the cocktail reception and again after dinner.
In addition to celebrating Tom Dando, the evening recognized outstanding vendors, top-performing salespeople, and exceptional retail service across the industry.
