Benjamin Obdyke, a leading supplier of moisture management products and innovations, has welcomed Alex Arney as its newest Sales Associate for the Southeast. Arney will support building and design pros, dealers, and distributors in eastern Tennessee, northern South Carolina, and throughout North Carolina, providing consulting, product knowledge, installation education, lunch and learns, and more.
Arney joins Benjamin Obdyke following four years with 84 Lumber, where he served as an Outside Sales Coordinator and, most recently, an Outside Sales Representative.
“Alex’s history in the industry has provided him with hands-on experience across all of Benjamin Obdyke’s customer groups, from the dealer to the end user, helping him truly understand their needs,” said Will Maley, Southeast District Manager for Benjamin Obdyke. “His building products knowledge is deep, and he appreciates the building science that influences Benjamin Obdyke’s materials and techniques. These attributes will be a huge asset to our customers.”
Arney is looking forward to leveraging that knowledge in his new role. “Along with fostering a great work environment, Benjamin Obdyke is a true leader in the building envelope industry,” Arney said. “I believe in the product we sell and look forward to continuing to support new and existing customers as they seek to Build Better.”
Arney has a bachelor’s degree in Business from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
