The Lumber and Building Material Dealers Foundation (LBMDF) advances the educational and charitable programs of the NRLA
Education is the key to a successful and profitable enterprise. The Lumber and Building Material Dealers Foundation (LBMDF) maintains the NRLA Educational Resource Center in Rensselaer, N.Y.. As a not-for-profit organization, the LBMDF relies on donors like you to help it maintain the level of excellence our members enjoy.
Ways to Give
LIFT Fund
The Lumber Industry Fund for Today (LIFT) is an industry-specific fund and member benefit which provides immediate financial assistance and peer support to NRLA member employees who are significantly impacted by a fire or natural disaster resulting in a loss of shelter.
Endowment for Education
This fund was established to support, in perpetuity, special or new education initiatives with the potential to benefit the entire NRLA membership. Donors to this fund can ensure that the LBMDF’s education innovation and leadership can continue through any market or industry conditions.
Endowment for the NRLA Educational Resource Center
This fund was established to support, in perpetuity, capital expenditures for upkeep and upgrades for the NRLA Educational Resource Center building. Built by members, the headquarters will remain a source of pride thanks to donors to this fund.
Unrestricted Gifts
You can use your membership dues renewal form to donate money to be spent where the Foundation has the greatest need for education and other support.
