Parksite, Inc. announced announced longtime chief financial officer, Ron Barthel, will retire at the end of 2025 after nearly two decades of leadership. As part of its succession planning, the company has appointed Jason Miele as chief financial officer, effective October 6, 2025
Barthel joined Parksite in 2006 and has played a pivotal role in the company’s success—guiding the organization through periods of significant growth, acquisitions, and the strengthening of its employee-owned business model.

Miele joins Parksite with extensive financial and operational experience. Most recently, he served as chief financial officer of CPM Holdings, Inc., providing global financial leadership across multiple business units. He also spent 17 years at James Hardie Industries plc in a variety of senior finance roles, including chief financial officer, vice president of investor and media relations, global controller, and global treasurer. Earlier in his career, he held positions at PacifiCare Health Systems and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
“I am honored to join Parksite at such a pivotal time in its history,” said Jason Miele, incoming chief financial officer. “Ron has built an incredible financial foundation, and I look forward to building on that legacy. As an employee-owned company, Parksite has a unique culture of commitment and collaboration that I am excited to help foster as we continue to grow.”
“Ron has been a steady and trusted leader for nearly two decades, and his impact on our company cannot be overstated,” said Bob Higgins, president of Parksite. “We are grateful for his many contributions. Looking ahead, we are thrilled to welcome Jason, whose extensive financial expertise and proven leadership will be instrumental as Parksite continues to expand and deliver value to our associates, customers, and suppliers.”
Parksite firmly believes their competitive advantage is directly attributable to their employees. As Higgins emphasized, “Every one of our associates is an owner of Parksite, and that sense of ownership fuels a unique dedication to our customers, our suppliers and one another. That’s what makes Parksite successful.”
