Benjamin Obdyke, a leading supplier of moisture management products and innovations, has hired Mercedes Pepin as a Sales Associate for the Northeast. Pepin will serve contractors, architects, builders, and LBM dealers in Maine and New Hampshire, providing product resources and education to support the sales, specification, and installation of Benjamin Obdyke’s growing suite of wall and roofing envelope materials.
Pepin comes to Benjamin Obdyke from Coastal Forest Products, where she gained industry knowledge and experience supporting the inside sales team, managing education events, and conducting product research. Previously, she worked in healthcare, in the occupational therapy and rehabilitation fields.
“Mercedes brings something that can’t be taught—a natural, positive rapport with people and the confidence and commitment to adequately understand and meet their needs,” said Bill Warfield, Regional Sales Manager for Benjamin Obdyke. “Her enthusiasm to help in any capacity and her strong attention to detail make her an excellent resource for our customers, whether they need help finding new solutions for project challenges or they’re seeking to understand science-based installation practices.”
A native of New Hampshire and a frequent traveler to Maine, Pepin also brings key local knowledge and expertise to her new role.
“I love meeting new people, solving problems, and being a resource, so I’m eager to get on the road and out in the field to visit customers where and when they need our support,” Pepin said. “Joining Benjamin Obdyke feels too good to be true—from their values and integrity to their commitment to putting the right people in the right positions, I know the company is an ideal fit for both my current skill set and future goals.”
Pepin holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of New Hampshire and is based in Bedford, N.H.
