Benjamin Obdyke, a leading supplier of moisture management products, has hired Richard Ferro as its newest Market Development Manager. In this role, Ferro will educate architects, builders, and dealers on the best products and practices for protecting the building envelope. Ferro’s territory comprises the Mid-Atlantic region, including New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland.

Ferro is no stranger to Benjamin Obdyke, having worked for company vendor Garrison Printing Co. for the previous eight years. That role, in which he helped support the launch of multiple products, including HydroGap SA, allowed him to develop a deep knowledge about Benjamin Obdyke products.

“Rich is someone you’re naturally drawn to. In the years that I’ve worked with him, it’s become evident the importance he places on relationship building,” said Tara Murray, director of marketing for Benjamin Obdyke. “I’m confident that his passion and natural ability to connect with people will allow him to educate the construction community on the importance of the building envelope.”

Ferro said he looks forward to leveraging his expertise to help influence projects in an ever-evolving industry. “I hope that in my position, I can be an advocate for the building envelope while raising awareness of building science innovations and the Benjamin Obdyke product line along the way.”
